Feeling overwhelmed can happen for many reasons. Stressful life events, trauma, and ongoing challenges can deeply affect your ability to feel present, connected, and content in daily life. When things feel hard, it’s easy to lose hope — and that’s where I come in. I see my role as helping people reconnect with their own sense of hope and possibility, even when it feels out of reach.
After many years working within larger systems and public services, I saw how often people felt unseen or constrained by the limits of those environments. I wanted something different — a space where therapy could move at your pace, grounded in trust, compassion, and genuine connection. My counselling practice was born from that vision: to create an environment where personalized care, experience, and empathy meet to support lasting healing.
I work primarily with adults, offering support through challenges with depression, anxiety, and trauma. These experiences can surface in many ways — through relationship struggles, work stress, or major life transitions. I have a special interest in working with first responders, busy parents, and professionals who are trying to find balance in their lives. I also welcome clients who feel stuck or hopeless, especially those who feel like they’ve “tried everything” and nothing has worked.
For nearly 20 years, I’ve had the privilege of supporting individuals through counselling and therapy. I’m continually inspired by the resilience of people — their ability to face difficult experiences and still move toward lives filled with meaning, purpose, and authenticity.
In my practice, I draw from a range of therapeutic modalities to meet each person’s unique needs. Recently, I’ve expanded my work to include Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) — an evidence-based treatment for PTSD and other trauma-related concerns. I’ve used EMDR to help clients overcome phobias, regain confidence after accidents, and heal from experiences of abuse, both in childhood and adulthood.

My counselling practice was born from a desire to create spaces that truly work for people. My approach is holistic and client-centered, blending experience, empathy, and evidence-based practice to support your journey toward greater wellbeing and self-understanding.
Why I Care
Finding a person and a space where you can be your true self is an essential part of healing. I believe that the therapeutic relationship is the heart of meaningful change, which is why I place great importance on building trust, safety, and genuine connection with every client I work with. My role is to listen deeply, understand your experience, and walk alongside you as you move toward a life that feels more balanced, fulfilling, and authentic. Everyone deserves to be heard, valued, and supported — and that’s the foundation of my work.
